Delete your account

Two ways: a button in the app, or an email. Both remove the same thing.

Updated: 21 August 2026

In the app

Settings → Account → Delete account and data. The screen shows exactly how many records will disappear and asks you to confirm. After that the data cannot be brought back.

Next to it sits the thing people are usually looking for: wipe the diary and keep the account. That is for anyone who wants a clean slate rather than the door.

By email

If the phone is lost or the app is already gone, write to [email protected] from the address you signed in with through Google. That is how we recognise the record without asking you anything extra.

A request is carried out within 30 days, usually sooner. The reply comes to the same address.

What disappears

  • Diary entries: meals, weight, water, workouts, measurements, medication
  • Profile and settings, allergies, the assistant memory, the conversation history
  • The account itself: your email, the link to your Google account, every session and device
  • The token balance and the history of how it was topped up

The copy that sits on the phone goes with the app when you uninstall it. Photos of food do not disappear, because they never existed: a shot lives exactly as long as the analysis takes and never reaches the database.

What remains, and why

Nothing that points to you. The server technical logs keep anonymised records of requests for a while: the time, the route, the response code. There is no name, no email and no message content in them, and they exist for exactly one purpose, to show failures. Those logs are wiped after 90 days.

Changed your mind

Deletion is final and happens without a waiting period: we do not keep deleted accounts just in case. If you are unsure, wiping the diary from the section above leaves you both the account and the chance to start over.
